Dr. Kapil Thacker

Dr. Thacker was born and raised in Schaumburg, Illinois. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned his dental degree at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Thacker is excited to bring his expertise and enthusiasm for patient care to his practice.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Thacker enjoys a wide variety of activities. He loves cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with his fiancé. While he humorously refers to his golf outings as “attempts,” he enjoys the sport and the time spent outdoors. Shopping and exploring new restaurants are also among his favorite pastimes, and since moving to Wisconsin, he’s become a fan of the classic Friday night fish fry.

Dr. Thacker has a passion for tropical getaways and counts St. Thomas and the U.S. Virgin Islands as his favorite destinations—especially since he got engaged there last February. Although he loves the beach and the sound of ocean breezes, he admits that he’s not much of a swimmer and tends to stay in the shallow end. Switzerland and the Maldives are next on his travel bucket list.

In addition to traveling and dining, Dr. Thacker enjoys boating and spa days, and he likes to experiment with new recipes in the kitchen. While he doesn’t have pets yet, he hopes to welcome a Bichon Frisé—or possibly a German Shepherd, if he can convince his fiancé!
